What You Can Expect
Meet your private guide on arrival at Benoa cruise port between 8am and 10am (pickup times can be arranged to suit your cruise arrival) and relax in your private chauffeured vehicle on the around 1-hour journey to Ubud. Before arriving in Ubud, explore the surrounding villages, renowned for their traditional handicrafts. Peek into the jewelry maker’s workshops in Celuk Village, admire the magnificent hand-carved woodwork in Mas, and marvel at the diverse artworks on sale in Batuan Village. Continue to Ubud, where highlights include the grand Ubud Palace, and the Sacred Monkey Forest, a nature reserve home to around 700 macaque monkeys. Finally, pay a visit to Ubud Art Market, where you can browse the stalls for souvenirs and practice your haggling skills as you purchase unique paintings, sarongs, silk scarves, hand-woven baskets, or colorful clothing. After 6 hours taking in the island’s highlights, return to Benoa port in time for your cruise departure.
